Nestled by the Allt Neacrath Burn and accessed by a woodland forest track, this secluded, homely countryside two-bedroom cottage, is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the view.
Completely secluded and enjoying a unique setting, Turin Nurin is nestled beside a small stream, on the edge of the forest above Tomatin village in the Monadhliath Mountains. With no passing traffic you can relax with the sounds of the birds chirping and see nature at its best.
LIVING SPACE
With extra deep stone built walls, Turin Nurin is spaciously appointed with accommodation spread across one level.
With panoramic glass windows, vaulted ceilings and heated tiled floor, the feature living space is the heart of Turin Nurin offering space to relax, dine and cook. Feature sofas face a wood burning stove, a farmhouse table offers the perfect space to enjoy dinner and a solid wood kitchen with granite surfaces are perfect for preparing light meals.



SPACE TO UNWIND
A spacious bedroom lies at each end of the cottage, allowing privacy and seclusion, each with a private bathroom.
The master bedroom features a kingsize bed, plush carpets and en-suite marble bathroom with bath & shower facilities. Open the windows and listen to the tranquil sounds of the Allt Neacrath burn and enjoy views of wildlife grazing in adjacent moorland.
The second bedroom has two single beds, both made with double duvets for added comfort and extra feather pillows. A separate bathroom is off of a small hallway, with a bath & shower.
East facing windows allow the morning sunrise to gently waken you.

OUTDOOR SPACE
Large slate outdoor dining area with garden furniture overlooking lawns. Situated within a 200-acre enclosed woodland ground. Private parking onsite for 3 cars.
No smoking is permitted in the cottage.
Please note: There is an unfenced stream in the ground, 15 yards away
The fully fenced 200-acre woodland has a range of walks, which vary in difficulty and a large range of wildlife, such as its own resident red deer herd. It is also home to red squirrels, red kites and golden eagles, and also a diverse range of insects, rare dragonflies, grouse and pheasants. You may even catch a glimpse of the occasional wildcat or capercaillie, which have been seen. In the evening you are likely to see or hear the sounds of a wide range of wildlife whilst sitting on the patio.



The property is detached and was completed in 2015 on the site of the original ruin, using natural stone and slate throughout. Furnished to a very high standard, Turin Nurin Cottage makes a superb base for exploring the immediate area, the Cairngorms and Northern Highlands all which are made even more special by the warm ambiance of the setting.
